Quality Report Card: Surgical Care Improvement Project
What does a measurement about the surgical care improvement project tell me? Patients who have surgical procedures are at an increased risk of acquiring infections. Hospitals across the country, including TRH, have implemented proven interventions that help decrease the risk of infections for patients. We measure our compliance with these proven prevention methods, as well as the overall surgical site infection rates, and can compare our results with state and national averages.
