The TRH Foundation recently completed a major capital campaign to fund the new $14 million inpatient wing at the hospital. The new wing’s design brings patients, families and care providers together in a calm, efficient, state-of-the-art healing environment.

The 25,000 square foot wing, which opened in May 2008, has 30 new rooms for medical/surgical and critical-care patients. These rooms are designed for easy mobility, staff efficiency, and patient comfort and safety. Centralized nursing/physician stations provide greater efficiency and privacy. Patient charting systems are electronic. Patient intake, waiting and consulting areas are large allowing for increased convenience and privacy. The project also included the renovation and expansion for the dietary department, pharmacy, front lobby and educational areas.
